Frequently Asked Questions

How does the platform work?

Inspectify simplifies booking an inspection for both consumers and large-scale investment houses. By joining the platform, you become discoverable in a list of bookable inspectors in the area. When an agent or brokerage needs to book an inspection, they submit an order; our team works out the specifics of access and timing with the agents involved and sends that job offer to an inspector in the area. Jobs come to you completely ready to go!

How are fees calculated? What’s my rate?

We work with large scale brokerages and home builders to open up new inspection opportunities you would otherwise miss, handle the leg work of assuring access, dealing with the agents involved, and provide an additional measure of protection when things go wrong on top of your own coverage.

Unlike paying for leads or advertising to generate business, we only take a cut of what we are paying you. We send you jobs that are already bought and paid for so you can focus on the inspection process itself, book more jobs, and skip all of the parts of running a small business that don’t actually get you paid.

How do I get paid?

You are paid directly by Inspectify, upon completion of an inspection. If you included your banking details when setting up your account, you will be issued payment at the end of the business day via ACH (direct deposit, may take 2-3 days to arrive). If you did not set up direct deposit, a check will be issued and should arrive to your mail within 1-2 weeks.

Why is this platform free?

What makes us different is that we are not a lead generation site. Our unique business model is intended to work seamlessly and efficiently for all parties involved.

Do I have to use the Inspectify inspection app?

For certain brokerage clients yes, the app is a requirement. It’s worth noting that with app usage comes instant uploads, so your reporting can be done as you leave the job site. With streamlined templates that can cut a significant portion of the items you may have on a default inspection sheet, it saves you time.

What’s the onboarding process like?

The first step to onboarding with Inspectify is to fill out our inspector screening form. We’ll reach out to you with additional steps when we have the inspection volume to support additional inspectors in your area.

What type of insurance am I required to carry?

Inspectify requires that all contractors have an active insurance policy with a minimum of $250,000 of errors and omissions (E&O) coverage.

Will there be any liability issues on my behalf of my business partnering with Inspectify?

We carry our own liability insurance in addition to yours for this reason. Our MSA (Master Service Agreement) outlines our terms and alleviates inspector concerns regarding liability partnering with us.
