Introducing Appraisify & Toolkit: Start of a Modern Appraisal Process

In today’s real estate market, speed, reliability, and precision in valuations aren’t just nice-to-haves, they’re the foundation for success. Over the past several months, our team has been heads-down building something that redefines what’s possible in property valuations.
Today, we’re proud to officially introduce Appraisify Toolkit - the first valuation technology platform designed to fully embrace the advantages of hybrid and desktop appraisal offerings by empowering appraisers, elevated by Inspectify’s nationwide inspection network as well as other data sources.
Honoring Our Roots
The new Appraisify logo features a nod to Aloft, paired with Inspectify’s hummingbird. It’s a symbol of the strength that comes from merging teams, technology, and visions as well as our commitment to carrying forward what made Aloft special while building something even greater together.
Why we built Appraisify Toolkit
When we acquired Aloft earlier this year, we inherited their vast appraisal expertise and innovative technology stack. But we also faced another challenge: the current appraisal workflow lacked the customization that our customers depend on.
Toolkit is the appraisal workflow platform originally developed by Aloft to streamline how appraisers manage their work. It now gives appraisers a digital workspace to accept assignments, verify property data, select and adjust comps, and generate finished reports with more automation (starting off with depreciated cost) while cutting through the complexity of valuations.
By adapting Toolkit into Appraisify, we’re able to carry forward those strengths while expanding its role from an external tool into the core engine powering our internal appraisal operations and customer deliveries.
To continue delivering on our promise of speed, reliability and precision, we needed full control of the end-to-end experience - from order creation all the way to final appraisal delivery. That meant creating new solutions that leverage Aloft’s Toolkit as the foundation, and integrating it all seamlessly into Inspectify’s existing platform.
The Problem We’re Solving
Appraisals today are more dynamic than ever. Our clients depend heavily on inspection data to stay informed about the current state of their properties, while MLS and public record data provide insights into historical market trends. In order to get more and more accurate results, we recognized a need to converge all types of data to reach full capability for evidence-based appraisals in the future as we continue to deliver nationwide appraisals.
Appraisify solves this by:
- Giving us full control over every step of the appraisal workflow
- Maintaining our speed and quality commitments
- Ensuring no disruption for our customers or appraiser network
How Appraisify Works
Appraisify empowers appraisers with the tools they need to work faster and smarter without compromising accuracy or objectivity. Some of the core features include:
- Streamlined Job Management – Appraisers get instant notifications for new assignments, with the ability to accept or decline based on detailed job descriptions.
- Data Verification at a Glance – Compare inspection, MLS listings, and public records data side-by-side to confirm property details.
- Smarter Comparable Selection – Proprietary comps recommendation engine, with filtering capabilities to find the best match.
- Value Adjustments Made Easy – Automated baseline adjustments calculated using the depreciated cost approach & paired sales analysis when needed, manually adjustable by the appraiser.
- Integrated Market Trends & History – Investigate market conditions and transaction history directly in the workflow.
- One-Click Delivery – Certify and publish a finished appraisal in PDF format and mark the job complete for expedited payment for appraisers.
- Automated Quality Control – Systematic checks that ensure consistent and accurate appraisal reports.
The Coming Months
We’re not done just yet. In a few months, we’re set to pilot with a select few of our customers. More exciting are the additional features we have planned for our roadmap including:
- As-Is/As-Repaired (AIV/ARV) module
- Income Approach & Pro Forma analysis
- Modern evaluation & BPO products
- 3rd Party Valuation Evaluation
- Customer Self-Serve Valuation Sandbox
- Preparing for UAD 3.6
While we’re busy building new layers of analysis technology into the Appraisify Toolkit, we’re also intentionally getting back to the roots of real estate appraisal. One of our guiding principles is giving appraisers the ability to fully develop all three approaches to value - not just lean heavily on sales comparison. The true strength of an appraisal lies in when the cost, income, and sales comparison approaches align to tell the same story. That’s when you arrive at a value opinion that isn’t just calculated, but well-supported and meaningful.
This is only the beginning. The next evolution of Toolkit will deliver a more advanced, data-driven approach to property valuations, combining multiple data sources to set a new standard for objectivity and consistency.
